Did You Know? . . . . Statisitics have proven that while we we are doing well teaching our children their ABCs, we are unfortunately failing at providing our kids with the adequate amount of structured physical activity needed for them to grow up well-rounded, fit, and nutritionally  conscious.

  • 85% of kindergartners fail a basic physical education test.  You can change that for your kids!

  • Children who fail to master their fundamental motor skills by the age of 6 may never realize their full potential to perform them.  Be proactive!

  • More and more children are developing  formally adult  chronic conditions such as cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, high cholesterol and high blood pressure.  It doesn't have to be that way!

  • "For the first time in 200 years, our children have a shorter life  expectancy than their parents”  (WHO)  Do something about it!

  • Preschoolers should have 60 minutes and toddlers 30 minutes of structured daily physical activity – not just free play.  Make it happen!

  • Schools (and communities) must encourage healthy lifestyles in children by adopting policies...and providing programs that support healthy diets and regular physical activity.  Are you doing enough?

Healthy children make healthy adults!
